Our Story
Letwork began when Julia and Leah met while studying abroad in Copenhagen. As they prepared to leave, they both struggled to find subletters to take over their rooms, navigating unreliable Facebook groups, scattered messages, and last-minute uncertainty.
They quickly realized that many other students across the country had the same problem. Students everywhere were stuck paying for empty apartments while other students who needed housing did not have a reliable resource to find housing.
What started as a study abroad idea turned into Letwork, a platform created by students, for students, to make subleasing simple, reliable, and stress-free. Working from opposite sides of the country, they transformed their shared frustration into a product that helps students focus on what matters most, not housing logistics.
